Team 91 Carolina - Box Format for the Winter Season

For the winter 2024 Box Lacrosse Season Team 91 Carolina will be utilizing a training camp format. All players will participate in training camps held at NetSports in Morrisville. These training camps will include on field sessions, as well as off-field chalk talk sessions ensuring players gain a base IQ of the box game, as well as get live reps and competition.

Team 91 Carolina teams will get a chance to compete at the NXT East Coast Box Invitational(January 13-14) and the Carolina Box Clash(January 27-28). Players will be formed into teams based on age/grade that best match the competition at these events. Players will be notified of their team assignments following registration closing.

Team 91 Carolina Box Program is open to all players from any club, school, or program interested in competing in box lacrosse. Although no box experience is required, this program is not for players new to lacrosse and we require all those registering to have at least one year of club lacrosse experience to participate.

Cost Per Player: $595

All Participating Players Will Receive:

• Team 91 Carolina Training Camps: 5+ Hours of Instruction, including on field drills, scrimmages, and off-field chalk talk
• Online Zoom Session: Coaches will review NLL film view a program zoom call to help emphasize box concepts.
• Participation in the NXT East Coast Box Invitational held in VA Beach, and the Carolina Box Clash held at NetSports. Families will be responsible for their own travel and hotel cost to VA Beach.
• Team 91 Carolina custom box lacrosse jersey.

This program is open to any players with or without box experience in graduation years 2024-2034. All players must have at least one year of club lacrosse experience in order to participate, but is open to players from any club, school, or lacrosse program.

Full Time Box Goalies will play free for the season. Please email Carolina@team91lacrosse.com if interested in being a full time box goalie for the program. Spaces are limited and once filled we will close out the goalie position.

Training Camp Information:

Training Camp 1 -

Saturday, January 6th-Sunday January 7th. Saturday evening sessions and Sunday morning session.

Location: NetSports

Times: Saturday - 4-9PM range, Sunday 8AM-11AM.

 

Training Camp 2 -

Friday, January 26th

Location: NetSports

Times: Friday, 7-10PM.

 

Final schedule for training camp for player arrival and conclusion times will be sent out in December, but players should plan on being there during the time blocks listed above with a combination of on field work and off-field team meetings.
