COACHES

  • Head Coach: Jerry Zinn

Coach Jerry is a Chapel Hill native. He attended Cardinal Gibbons High School and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2016. His lacrosse coaching career began as an assistant at Beaumont School in Cleveland in 2018, focused on strength and conditioning and training goalies and draw specialists. In 2021 he joined Team91 Carolina as the 2023W coach and assisted with Rival Lacrosse fall clinics. Jerry served as a coach for the 2023 team through the end of the players' club careers in fall of 2022. Since 2022 he has been a co-coach for the Carrboro High School Girls Lacrosse team. Jerry is a USA Lacrosse Level 2 certified coach, writer, elementary school assistant teacher, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and former federal wildland firefighter. He believes strongly in fostering a growth mindset by supporting and challenging players as they work towards improvement in lacrosse and life.

  • Assistant Coach: Morgan Reifstek

Coach Morgan grew up in Mount Holly Springs, PA, and attended Carlisle High School.  She was a 4-year Varsity starter for her high school lacrosse team. After high school, she attended Messiah College, winning 3 MAC Championships and qualifying for the NCAA tournament each of those years. In 2018, she returned to Carlisle High School as the Assistant Varsity coach. In 2019, she began her college coaching career at Division II Shippensburg University in the PSAC conference. In 2021, I was a Film Analyst for Division III Misericordia University.

  • Assistant Coach: Victoria Kroll

Coach Victoria recently coached the Team 91 Carolina HS White team.  She is an NC State alumni who graduated from Holly Springs High School after playing for four years on varsity. During her time she was both junior and senior captain. Her lacrosse career ended before college due to injury, but she was able to experience the college recruitment process — something that she is still passionate about. Since her playing career ended, she has enjoyed training individuals for strength and conditioning as well as helping middle and high school girls' lacrosse players develop their talents by coaching with NCLA.
